Our client, a specialist tour operator, is seeking to recruit an experienced Head of HR who will manage the HR department. Responsibilities will include all aspects of HR from recruitment and selection, creating and updating policies and procedures through to exit interviews. You will also ensure that the businesses comply with current employment law. This role is primarily responsible for the head office staff however the Head of HR will also be expected to be involved in any HR issues that arise with any overseas staff/offices as well as any sister companies.
To succeed in this role you must have previous experience of managing a generalist HR Department, be
CIPD qualified and have excellent management and negotiation skills. You should have a keen eye for detail, have the ability to work in a team or on your own and have excellent communication skills.
Experience of the travel industry and/or European Law would be an advantage.
Salary negotiable
